Who We Are.
Strike9T CIC was founded with a clear vision: to inspire, engage, and uplift young people through sport. What started as a small initiative has grown into a thriving community-driven organisation delivering high-quality, inclusive sports programmes across the West Midlands.

Our Story
We recognised a need—not just for accessible sports opportunities, but for safe spaces where young people could build confidence, develop life skills, and feel a sense of belonging. Many children face social, economic, and personal challenges that prevent them from engaging in physical activity. At Strike9T, we break down those barriers, ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has the chance to thrive.

But we don’t stop at youth engagement—we also invest in people. Our coaches and volunteers often come from the same communities we serve, progressing from participants to mentors, and from volunteers to paid staff. By offering training, qualifications, and employment opportunities, we create a lasting cycle of empowerment that benefits both individuals and the wider community.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower young people through sport, play, and education, creating opportunities for all children—regardless of background—to develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment.
We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality sports coaching and facilities, free from social and economic barriers. Through our diverse range of activities and dedicated coaching team, we aim to:
-
Activate, challenge, and inspire young people through fun, engaging, and structured multi-sport sessions.
-
Promote inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring children of all abilities, genders, and backgrounds can participate.
-
Support mental and physical well-being, using sport as a tool to build confidence, self-esteem, and positive relationships.
-
Create pathways to personal and professional development, offering volunteering, training, and employment opportunities.
-
Strengthen local communities, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and long-term engagement in sport and physical activity.
By providing safe spaces, positive role models, and high-quality coaching, we equip young people with the skills and support they need to thrive—both on and off the field.
Our Partners
We are proud to collaborate with a range of organisations, schools, and local authorities that share our commitment to youth development. These partnerships allow us to expand our reach, enhance our programmes, and provide more opportunities for children and young people to engage in sport.
